Here are some more readings which we’re presenting in a bid to encourage a nuanced discussion about the situation in the Ukraine. A situation which has the potential to spin completely out of control with devastating consequences for millions if the hotheads calling for a militarily enforced NATO no fly zone over the Ukraine get their way. The lethal stupidity of a No Fly Zone – Tim Black | Spiked | March 1, 2022
This is a deadly serious moment. Russia, a military superpower with its nuclear arsenal reportedly at the ready, is waging war in Ukraine. Tensions are high. Clarity is lacking. And the Ukrainian people, as courageous and brave as their resistance has been, remain desperate.

Not wanting to sound hyperbolic, but I am starting to conclude that the nuclear madmen running the U.S./NATO New Cold War they started decades ago are itching to start a nuclear war with Russia.
Their hypocrisy and nihilistic thirst for death and destruction are so extreme that it boggles my mind. They accuse Russia of starting a New Cold War when they did so decades ago and have been pushing the envelope ever since. Now they act shocked that Russia, after many years of patience, has struck back in Ukraine.

Now, some of it could be attributed to misunderstandings, mistaken identity, misattribution…but many and most are likely deliberate deceptions designed to provoke a response. Let’s dive right in.
A Ukrainian Sociologist Explains Why Everything You Know About Ukraine Is Probably Wrong – An interview with Volodymyr Ishchenko | Jacobin | February 10, 2022
If you’ve relied on establishment media to follow the events in Ukraine these past eight years, then chances are what you know is wrong. Despite — or, more likely, because — the tumult in Ukraine has reared its head prominently in both US foreign policy and its domestic politics these past few years, the country’s history and its ongoing internal conflicts have been some of the most propagandized for Western audiences.
